Michael Broadbent
PRESIDENT
Michael Broadbent is the founder and President of Bedrock Group formerly known as Michael Broadbent Consulting, specializing in EB-5 related documentation, compliance services, and EB-5 investment management. Michael has 13+ years of experience with a focus on commercial real estate development, sales and marketing, and EB-5 investment administration. Since forming Bedrock Group, Mr. Broadbent has been engaged and consulted with sponsors of EB-5 investments resulting in over $750 million of capital raised by clients and deployed into a variety of industries including commercial real estate, food services, technology, manufacturing, and transportation. Prior to founding Bedrock Group and its predecessors, he worked for a commercial real estate developer in Dallas Texas, managing creation and operations for the company’s network of 15+ regional centers and EB-5 investments as well as managing the company’s marketing and branding efforts of its multifamily, hospitality, and retail assets. Mr. Broadbent holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

John Mangel is CEO and found of Chicago based Phoenix Development Partners (“Phoenix”). Mr. Mangel has more than 20 years experience in commercial real estate and business development. Before founding Phoenix, Mr. Mangel was an executive with HSA Commercial Real Estate specializing in real estate acquisitions and development. He has spearheaded the development of more than 4 million square feet of commercial property, assembled more than 300 acres of land, and acquired more than $200 million worth of existing property. Prior to joining HSA, Mr. Mangel gained substantial business development and planning experience with The Walt Disney Company. As part of the development and strategic planning group for Walt Disney Attractions, he guided the development of 2,100 hotel rooms and 140,000 square feet of retail and dining venues. John also was a member of strategic planning and development team for Disney’s Hong Kong theme park. A native of the Chicago area, Mr. Mangel has deep ties to his community. In addition to being a member of the President’s Leadership Council of the Chicago Field Museum and the Chicago Council on International Relations, Mr. Mangel also serves on the board of directors for the Long Grove Confectionery Company and Best Buddies of Illinois. Education: M.B.A., Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management; B.S., Georgetown University School of Business Administration.
